2010-2011 Scholarship Winners:            

The Sioux Empire Jr. Golf Association:  Davee Johnson, Aaron Bauer and Austin Erikson.  Davee is from Burke, South Dakota, Aaron is from Brandon, South Dakota and Austin is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota, "Trusted Choice": Whitney Wheeler from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Tyler Frick from Yankton, South Dakota.

Both groups will be offering scholarships again this year.

The Sioux Empire Junior Golf Challenge is open to any boy or girl golfer that is high school or junior high age.  Younger golfers can and are encouraged to play in the junior high division.  All tournaments are Eighteen holes.

The tournament series will consist of ( 8 ) scheduled events and ( 2 ) special events.  The ( 8 ) scheduled events will begin on Tuesday June 1^st at the Elmwood golf course in Sioux Falls and end on Monday August 2^nd at Willow Run golf course in Sioux Falls.  The golfers will earn points toward individual championships and awards in each division. [ The winners in each division will be announced at the Willow Run event, as we have done in the past ]  

The  special events planned:  Adult-Junior [6-6-6] to be held at Willow Run Golf Course on June 20^th and Junior-Junior [6-6-6] at Spring Creek Golf Course on Wednesday July 28^th.  

The cost, format and starting time of each event will remain the same as last summer.

• Cost:   will be $10.00 per event. 

• Adult-Junior event:  Cost will be           $30.00 per team  

• Junior-Junior event:  Cost will be         $20.00 per team.
